Italy

My Italian journey started in Milan; the fashion capitol of the world. We walked on the charming Milano streets and we stood out amongst all of the pedestrians' extravagant clothing. We stayed at the gorgeous Novotel near the Milan airport.

We rested and the next day we headed to the Duomo which is a beautiful and ancient church thats just breathtaking.

On the same day we did some shopping and we got on a train to Venice, Italy. This was a very long ride, but the train was very fancy and comfortable. When we got to Venice we walked aside of the canals while enjoying the classic music and fresh Italiano pizza. It was a moment worth living. We also admired many common souvenir masks that were available for sale. We also saw many stores selling murano glass which was blown glass made in venice.

We then took a nice overnight train from Venice to Rome! From the train station we took a subway to the Colosseum which surrounded us after we exited the subway station. The Colosseum was a true traveler's paradise. The breathtaking structure was so pleasant it was nearly impossible to believe it was in ruins. We then took an inside tour of the Colosseum, but heres some advice. If you plan to take an inside tour make sure you are taking a tour from the Colosseum Management.

On the same day as the Colosseum we took a train/subway to the Vactican to see the Pope of Italy. When we were about a block away we were running to the Vactican like the other thousands of people who were swarming us while they held olive branches. We finally arrived to the Vactican when the Pope arrived and everyone celebrated him.

We returned to Milan on a train and we rested for the night the next day we were on our way home. Italy was truly a magical and amazing experience that i will never forget.
